Recycling Resource:

The Wisconsin Recycling Markets Directory (WRMD) provides information about outlets for recycling various materials in Wisconsin. Users can search the list of recyclers for various materials, view information about the recyclers and suggest additional recyclers to include in the listing.

The recyclers in this directory may work with large volumes of material. It is important to contact these companies to discuss your recycling options and to make arrangements for drop-off or pick up.

Year-Round Local Collection Services:

Local waste and recycling collection varies by community and is susceptible to change. For the most up-to-date information regarding what can be recycled, where and when, contact your local municipality directly.

Kenosha County Household Hazardous Waste Program

The Kenosha County Household Hazardous Waste Program is a FREE program and a great opportunity for Kenosha residents to dispose of their household hazardous waste in an environmentally friendly way.  Anyone who lives in Kenosha County – the city, towns and villages – can dispose of their household hazardous waste, e-waste and refrigerant waste by bringing their waste items at this annual event, typically held on the first Saturday in May.
