Consumer Horticulture

  1. Spring into Gardening –  a one-day event featuring presentations by area horticulture professionals. Second Saturday in March.  Location:  Westosha Central High School, Paddock Lake.  Melinda Myers will be the keynote speaker at the March 9, 2019 event!

  2. Lawn Chair Learning – A series of horticultural programs at various Master Gardener project sites.  Bring a lawn chair, sit back, and learn about an aspect of horticulture displayed at the project.  No cost.  No registration required.  May-June.

Commercial Horticulture

  1. 2019 Landscape Grounds Maintenance Short Course – designed for green industry professionals.  Meets on Wednesday mornings in February at the Kenosha County Center in Bristol.   Spanish interpretation available. Registration for the 2019 session is now closed. 
  2. Urban Forestry Workshop:  Tree Planting –  A one-day workshop that will show parks and tree professionals how to properly plant trees.  Classroom instruction and hands-on activities. 2019 schedule TBD.
