4-H Goat Project
Project Information:
Activities will include meetings and workshops designed to help members learn how to select, feed, manage, breed, fit, show, and evaluate dairy and market goats and goat by-projects.
Note: Minimum requirement is 3rd grade. Any project members in 3rd grade and above may show breeding stock. Only members in 4th grade and up may show/sell market animals.
In order to be a member in good standing, members must obtain two points by attending countywide goat meetings or by showing/attending another goat show with the prior approval of the project leaders.
All market goats for auction must be tagged by May 31st in order to show/sell at the Kenosha County Fair.
Participation fees of $10 per member, limited to $20 per family are due no later than May 31st.
Members will be notified of any further requirements or changes.
