4-H Sheep Project

Learn how to select, feed, manage, breed, fit, show, evaluate, and market sheep.
Note: Members must be enrolled by January 1st and obtain 2 points to be considered a member in good standing. These points can be earned by attending countywide sheep meetings or by showing at another sheep show approved by the project leader.
The Kenosha County Fair requires participants to be members in good standing to show or sell animals at the fair. They also require market lambs to be tagged on the first Saturday in May.
Any project members in 3rd grade and above may show breeding stock. Only members in 4th grade and up may show or sell market lambs.
