The Kenosha County Youth As Resources Board of Directors is made up of nine youth (grades 9-12) and three adults from across Kenosha County. The YAR board meets once a month to discuss community issues, award grants to youth-led community service groups, and plan community involvement initiatives. Youth board members develop leadership and professional skills while working alongside adults.

Nominations for the 2025-26 YAR Board are due by Friday, February 14, 2025, at 11:59 p.m.

Nominate a Youth


Know a youth or adult interested in a leadership position and wants to serve the community? Nominate them for the Youth As Resources Board! People who are nominated will receive communication on the application process

Interested candidates are also welcome to nominate themselves to receive communication on the application process.

Apply


Submit an application to be considered for an available board position. The Youth As Resources Board reviews all applications and will extend invitations for candidates to interview.

Applications are required to receive an interview invitation.

Interviews will be on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, between 5-8 PM at United Way of Kenosha County, 5500 6th Ave, Kenosha, WI 53140.
