4-H Shooting Sports: Air Pistol, Air Rifle, .22 Pistol, .22 Rifle Project
Project Information:
This project is an introduction to firearms (air rifle, air pistol, .22 pistol, and .22 rifle). Members will learn safe handling, ammunition, sighting, and caring for your equipment.
Note: You must be at least 8 years old and in 3rd grade to participate in Air Rifle and Air Pistol. A youth must be 12 years old or older by December 31st of the 4-H program year in order to participate in powder-burning sports.
All leaders and volunteers must be certified through the State 4-H Wisconsin Shooting Sports Program created by the National 4-H Shooting Sports Council. They must also complete the Kenosha County Volunteer Certification Program before being allowed to lead any sessions.
