4-H Swine Project

Project Information:

Learn about the different breeds, what makes a good show hog, how to care for your hog, maintain the appropriate weight, and the market aspect of the animal.

Member must attend three county-wide swine meetings to be a considered a member in good standing. Members will be notified of any further requirements or changes. In order to represent Kenosha County 4-H at any exhibitions, all swine project members must meet or exceed all Kenosha County 4-H swine regulations.

Note: Any 4-H member in 3rd grade may enroll in the swine project to show in Open Class only. 4-H members in 3rd grade are unable to participate in the Large Animal Auction for that animal.

There is a participation fee of $10 per family to cover project expenses
