Bristol Strivers

Club Information/Expectations:

The Bristol Strivers 4-H Club, the largest in Kenosha County, is a vibrant and engaging community where youth take the lead in learning by doing. Our club emphasizes hands-on experience through youth-led meetings. Officers (8th grade and above) and Junior Officers (3rd – 7th grade) work together, with juniors shadowing their senior counterparts to gain leadership skills, providing an educational and engaging meeting for all members. Our Cloverbuds (K-2nd grade) enjoy a separate breakout session led by our Vice President, engaging in crafts or STEM activities before rejoining for community service projects. We prioritize community involvement, aiming to include a service project in most meetings.

Thanks to generous sponsorship, we provide fair passes for our club members, allowing them to showcase their hard work on projects all year. Our general leader tries hard to expand our knowledge and recruits project leaders for areas of high interest, even when there’s no countywide leader available. Join us to be part of a club where youth leadership and community service go hand in hand!

Meeting Details, Expectations & Fees:

We meet the first Tuesday of every month at 7 pm at Bristol Grade School. Youth must attend 5 out of 10 meetings to be a member in good standing.

Countywide dues of $15 per year ($16 for those in the horse project) will be collected during a club meeting
